A Great Day

Everyday is a day of Thanksgiving. This is an older gospel song that reminds us that everyday is worthy of our thanks. Each day brings new opportunities, new mercies and new blessings and we should thank God for every new day. Circumstances may make one feel they have nothing to be thankful for but in reality, you do. Each morning you are graced with another chance to do better, be better, and live better, you just have to grab the opportunity and run with it. Although some days may be difficult or maybe things seem as if you will not succeed, it will only remain that way if you believe it won’t change. As long as you are breathing, you can change your situation and you can succeed at whatever you are wanting for.
Look back over everything you have experienced. The things you did not succeed with are merely evidence of what did not work allowing you another chance to try it a different way or to try something different. It doesn’t mean you won’t succeed it just means that one way wasn’t the way to succeed. It’s like trying out a new recipe. When you try it the 1st time, it may not turn out the way you expected. The next time you may switch up the amount of an ingredient or two, you may have to add or eliminate an ingredient to get to your desired taste. Most will try several times before they find just the right stuff to get the taste they want. Success has a recipe, you just have to keep trying a new thing, a new way, with each new day until you have what you desire.
Don’t let circumstances, obstacles or even lack keep you from welcoming each morning with excitement, determination and thankfulness for another chance. Peep out beyond what appears to be the obvious to see the unbelievable possibilities and keep striving for yours. When you make up your mind that success is engraved over your name, knowing that it’s your promise from God, you will live it. Seek God first to ensure your plans align with his. That guarantees your success. Then wake up and greet every new day as another chance to make it all happen, leaving everything else in yesterday and leap towards the life you were meant to live.
