Manifestations: Go Get Yours

We hear and read so many things today about manifesting the life you want. It may seem confusing or unrealistic because it may not line up with what you have been taught in a religious setting or even at home. When you study scripture, manifestation is actually biblical. The biblical definition of faith in Hebrews11:1 reads Now faith is the assurance that what we hope for will come about and the certainty that what we cannot see exists (NISV). All the excitement around manifesting the life you want is based on having the thought of what you want to accomplish and bringing it to fruition, although your current circumstances do not reflect that truth, therefore you are hoping for what you cannot yet see. It is said that the energy you put with the intention, or hope, brings that thing into your reality. The same as your faith in God’s promises is your energy poured into your belief that you will experience those promises in your reality.

Also, the studies on manifestation teach that your words have power and you are encouraged to be mindful and very careful of the things you say because your words are creating your experiences. Just as Proverbs 18:21 states: The tongue can speak words that bring life or death. Those who love to talk must be ready to accept what it brings (ERV). This too indicates that our words create our experiences. We can create a pleasant day by speaking positive words or we can create havoc by speaking negative words. We can speak life into all the things we want to experience day to day or we can speak death to those things. That would translate to mean that if we are complaining about work, bills, traffic, or any of the unpleasant things we encounter, our complaining is giving life to all the things that make us feel unhappy therefore creating more of those same unhappy experiences. We are then killing the pleasant experiences we want to encounter by smothering the seeds of happiness with the complaints. If we are always arguing and disagreeing with someone, we are creating more discord with that person and others. However, if we are speaking positive words into our day, we are nourishing the seeds of happiness, prosperity, success, love, peace and all the pleasant experiences we desire and thus experiencing more of this. This proverbs simply means the words we speak will either build you up or tear you down. It’s your choice. Words have power but you are the authority behind those words so choose to manifest the happy experiences each day.

The last lesson of manifestation is to express gratitude for all of your blessings. Being truly thankful produces more things to be thankful for. Think of how you feel when someone expresses their gratitude towards you. It’s a nice feeling to know you are appreciated and if the opportunity to assist that person presents itself again, you are happy to help, right? The same concept is applied when you express your gratitude to God for the many blessings you receive daily. When you stop to acknowledge all you have, regardless of anything else, you will realize you have so much to be thankful for. For every day you wake up, you have this new day to be thankful for because each new day comes with another chance to grab on to new opportunities, new possibilities, new mercies, new miracles and we can experience the beauty of God’s creation again. In every season, God has created beautiful things in nature just for us to experience His Glory over and over again. The bright star filled skies in the Winter, the refreshing rains and blooming flowers of Spring, the welcoming early morning bird songs of the Spring and Summer and all the beautiful colors of Autumn. These are a few things we tend to take for granted but are definitely worthy of our thanks. When you acknowledge those things and any other blessings, you will then begin to experience even more to be thankful for. Soon your cup will overflow.

Create your life, by correcting your words, believing in the truth of the unseen, and showing gratitude daily. Focus your attention on the pleasant and happy things to overpower those unpleasant things. Some will say, I don’t have anything to be thankful for. If you say that and if you think that, you will be absolutely correct because you are merely creating a life of nothing to be thankful for. However, if you search for the things you actually do have and show gratitude, more will come your way. So, take an honest look into your life and acknowledge the good. Don’t think or talk about the negatives, leave those on the shelf until they are replaced by your overflow. God’s word promises a life of abundance. Speak your life of abundance, be thankful for it and experience your manifestations. John10:10- I’ve come that they may have life, and have it abundantly. Go get yours.
