It’s encouraging to look back over the years and see so many times when God has resolved my concerns. I’m sure if you take a few moments to revisit your years, you will see many pieces of your puzzle gently put in place revealing how God worked things out for you. When we are going through difficult times, we tend to fuss and fight against changes or things we perceive as problems. BUT after the change comes, we then can see the big picture, God’s solution to the matter.

If you are still not 100% sure of how God’s plans always work things out for you, take a look at Moses in Exodus 3. God spoke with Moses and shared His plan to save the Israelites from Egyptian bondage. The Israelites had been crying out to God to save them. God heard and responded with a plan. Moses was the one chosen to carry out God’s plan. Now we know God can change anything at the blink of an eye but when He initiates a plan, a greater victory is on the other side and as things unfold, it reveals so much more of who God is. God already knew exactly how Pharaoh would respond and how everything would play out. He wasn’t bothered by it at all. He actually had every rebuttal, every consequence, and everyone’s behavior already outlined in the plan to bring about His intended results. Moses simply needed to obey God’s instructions and not waver in his faith.

The same is true with each of us in every situation. Our God is still the same today as with Moses. There is absolutely nothing we will ever experience that God is not fully aware of. Whatever the situation, God has a plan to bring about His purpose through our circumstances.

About 4 ½ years ago, my daughter and her husband were expecting their 3rd child, a son. They were excited because they had 2 daughters and very much wanted a son. My son-in-law was in the Air Force and had been stationed two states away from where they were living at the time which coincidently was also our home state. My daughter was in her final year of college working towards her Bachelor degree. She and their daughters had traveled to spend the last few weeks of summer break with him and family. The day before she and the girls were to return home, she began to experience complications with her pregnancy. She was only 5 months along in the pregnancy. However, she was leaking amniotic fluid and had to go to the emergency room. The hospital she went to was also where her high school best friend worked as a neonatal nurse. After the examination it was revealed that she would need to remain in the hospital until delivery. She went into labor several times and each time they medicated her in order to stop the delivery because remember, she was only 20 weeks into the pregnancy.

A few days prior to this, I had suggested to her that she speak with her doctor because her tummy appeared to be much larger than it should have been for only 20 weeks, she was expanding quite rapidly. At the hospital, the doctors revealed that the amniotic fluid was producing at a greater rate than normal. (Now watch how God always has a plan in motion, even when we don’t realize it).

About a month earlier, I had received a prophecy which showed me a baby struggling to swim, seemingly drowning, in a large body of dirty water. Suddenly a dam broke and all the dirty water rushed out and fresh, beautiful, blue water replaced the dirty water and the baby began to swim along freely and appeared happy. When my daughter shared with me the baby had gone into labor a 2nd time and they again administered medication to stop the labor, I told her, “Do NOT allow them to stop the labor again, he must be born now to save him”. She cried and said, “Mama, he’s too small, he’s not developed yet”. The prophecy came back to the forefront of my memory and I knew God was showing me my grandson in the amniotic fluid and it was drowning him. He would live if they delivered him out of the dirty water. Sure enough, my son-in-law called me early the next morning, they were in labor again but this time they were forced to deliver him because they couldn’t keep administering the medication to stop the labor. They were about to deliver my grandson. I reassured them, “he will be fine, he must be born NOW”.

Today my grandson is a healthy, active little boy about to celebrate his 5th birthday. He had a few hurdles as with any baby born as we consider to be prematurely. In God’s plan, he wasn’t premature. It was a right on time miracle to unveil a bigger plan for them. God was fully aware of everything that would come along with him being born that early and His plan allowed for everything that would come.

Remember I said she went to the hospital where her best friend worked as a neonatal nurse. She happened to be on duty that night and was there by my daughter’s side each day, easing her anxieties and being that extra comfort she needed through her unforeseen situation. Her professors worked with her to allow her to complete her final assignments online, although she had not been enrolled for online courses. Her husband was close which allowed him to visit their son in the hospital during the 3-month NICU stay and my mother had room for my daughter and the girls to stay with her while God relocated their family. She graduated and marched the following May. God’s plan is ALWAYS PERFECT and nothing is ever unknown to Him. Give Him the glory for all He has done and is doing, especially when things seem impossible and you have no idea how things are going to work out. He’s got a plan.
