Dreams that come true

What did you dream last night? Or what visions and aspirations have been lingering in your mind. Whether you receive inspirations through dreams or thoughts, those inspirations are things you are equipped to achieve. God is showing you things He has ordained for you. Now don’t take that statement and jump off into a belief that something ungodly is for you. Only things that are in alignment with God’s word are things that God has ordained for you. If your thoughts are about doing something immoral, illegal or harmful, that is not from God. You will know what visions, dreams or aspirations are a part of your purpose if you can check all the boxes and it stays within the realm of righteousness. If it will please God, if it will help or be of a benefit for someone else, if the thing you’re about to do will be an example of how great God truly is, then that thing is most likely your ordained purpose. So, believe for it.

Most likely when you receive this vision or purpose validation, you won’t have any clue on how you’re going to do it and because of that uncertainty, many will talk themselves out of pursuing it. But the reality is, God never meant for you to do it alone. He’s purposed you for it which means it’s so big that it will take Him to make a way for you to get it done. Of course, He wants you to dive in and do some of the work, but all of what is not possible for you to do, God has already done for you.

Whatever it is, you’ve already completed the first step when you pay attention to it and it becomes a true thought. Secondly you must do as Habakkuk 2:2-3 says and write it down. Now don’t forget verse 3 while you’re working on your thing. That’s an important message to remember at all times. It says, although it may take a while for your vision/dream to manifest (to become real or visible), wait for it because it will happen according to God’s perfect timing. Just don’t you wait in idle mode. If it’s a company, you must write down all the specifics about what is needed to start and run your business. If it’s a song, book, play or movie, start writing. If it’s a specialty dish or a restaurant, start mixing the ingredients, cooking up some food and hosting tasting parties until you have your desired results. Whatever your dream is, get started on it and keep working on it. Pray about it daily and listen as God provides your instructions, one step at a time. If you run into a quiet time when you aren’t receiving instructions, keep praying over it every day, continue working on what you already have instructions for and stay true to your dream. Sometimes that quiet time is to develop patience and to prove your faithfulness to the plan so do not give up thinking you will not succeed. You most definitely will succeed because verse 3 says you will. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

God is looking for the person who will hear and receive their purpose and believe Him for it. He is not looking for someone who can achieve a dream without Him. If you can achieve it without God’s help, it’s not your purpose and you’re dreaming much too small. Your purpose is so great that you will have to acknowledge God in it and through it. Your purpose will prove to you and those around you how Awesome and Great God truly is. Do your part and watch God bring it all into your reality. No matter what phase of the process you’re in or how things are going, be sure to Thank God with a humble heart daily as you’re going through the process, especially when discouragement or doubt try to invade your thoughts. Your praise and your belief in your thing are what will push it into Reality. Your dream will come true.
