Greater!

What God has for us is so much better and much greater than what we want for ourselves.

Sometimes we pray and we wait but it seems God doesn’t answer.  He may even close the door on that thing we’re asking for.  The closed door doesn’t mean He isn’t capable.  It doesn’t mean He is saying no to blessing us.  It means he is saying that’s not it.  That’s not what I have for you.

If God is saying that’s not what I have for you, He’s showing you that He has so much more planned for you.  What He’s wanting to give you is far greater than what you are asking of Him.  This is when we are to stop and recognize, I’m going about this thing all wrong.  I shouldn’t get upset or be disappointed or question God.  No!  Instead, try asking God to show you what He has for you.  Ask God to align your hearts desires with His plans so that you may live in His blessings.  Submit your will to His and stand on your faith that He’s received your prayers, and He is surely answering.

Isaiah 55:8-11 reads:

The Lord says, “My thoughts are not like yours.

Your ways are not like mine. Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways,    and my thoughts are higher than your thoughts.

10 “Rain and snow fall from the sky and don’t return until they have watered the ground. Then the ground causes the plants to sprout and grow, and they produce seeds for the farmer and food for people to eat.11 In the same way, my words leave my mouth, and they don’t come back without results. My words make the things happen that I want to happen.  They succeed in doing what I send them to do”.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 reads:

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

God has a plan for each of us and His plan goes far beyond our imagination.  He wants all believers to be an Example of How Great He is.  To do that, we must reach for those things He wants to do for us and through us.   In Isaiah 55: 10, He’s saying my words cause things to happen and blessings to multiply.  There are things God will put in motion that seem impossible to everyone but when it happens, everyone will know it was fulfilled by God alone.  Remember what He does through us is for His Glory.  Yes, it is to bless us and confirm that our faith is not in vain, but it’s also to show those on the outside looking in, who He is to encourage them to believe as well.  He says His word will not return void.  Whatever plans He’s spoken over your life, will come to pass when you submit to Him and believe in Him.  In Jeremiah 28: 12, 13 He encourages us to just come to Him and pray to Him and He says, yes I hear you and when you believe I hear you and believe that I'm capable of doing all I've said I will do, you will then experience ME!

Every promise in His word stands true.  If He’s given you a vision or a dream or a passion for something good, that’s the plan spoken over your life.  Believe for it! The truth to note is: We must submit to Him; He doesn’t submit to us.  He's a HEALER. If you're facing an illness, Believe for your Healing and spend each day Thanking Him. No energy to doubts or no fears, only praises to our Healer. Be Blessed.

Expect Great things, from our Great God.  Praise Him now, because Greater is Coming.
