Enough

Sometimes we go through things and we feel like we just can’t go any further, we have nothing left to give and no fight left in us. We feel like we’ve had enough. It’s at that point we have a choice to make. We can surrender everything to God or we can give up in defeat. Let me encourage you today to stop where you are and surrender to God. You see when you’re at that point, God’s power is available to take you over and beyond. It may seem this is your breaking point but, it’s not actually a breaking point, it’s a surrender point. A time to step back, remove ourselves and allow God’s power to reign. 2 Corinthians 12:9 explains that when we are weak, feeling defeated, exhausted from life’s struggles, God’s grace is available to carry us through whatever circumstances we find ourselves in, and His power is strongest when we sit at this point of weakness. We can rejoice and find exactly what we need right here in this confirmation.

I know some will ask, “how can I rejoice, how can I be happy when I’m going through this?” My answer would be to let yourself cry if you must, shout if you need to, then after you have released all of that emotion you are feeling, sit in the stillness of God’s presence and just give your heart, your life, your situation to God. Say these words, ‘Lord, I need you, I can’t go any further without you, help me. Thank You, Father.” Don’t come out of that moment until you feel God’s peace and kindness blanketing you. When that peace fills you, rejoice and know that you’ve given your circumstance to the one and only One who can take you to the other side of it and make it work out with the absolute best outcome.

God’s grace is enough to carry us through everything. His power manifests when we recognize and admit that we NEED HIM. Receive that, know it, and believe it. Once you do, you will begin to experience who God wants to be for you. It’s a magnificent experience. A surely life changing eye-opener. If you experience and trust Him from that point, He will continue to show you that you can count on Him at all times. Now don’t misunderstand, it does not mean you won’t have difficult times ever again. It simply means now some things won’t affect you in the same way as it did before and you live knowing that you are never in it alone, God’s got your back and it will all work out for your best each time.

Ponder on this: Some things we go through are so that we can use that experience to help someone else go through it later. When you have come through it and your faith has grown, you will encounter someone else going through something very closely related to your experience. You are then a lifeline (if you accept that honor) and you can encourage them beyond their Enough point, while also helping to develop and grow their faith. You will have won a soul to Christ. Isn’t that something to be happy about? Know that there is always a purpose for each experience, good and bad, so just go through it. Don’t leave out God, talk with Him daily, especially when things don’t seem to make sense to you. Whatever the situation is, it won’t destroy you, it won’t break you if you keep talking with God and trusting Him every second of every day in all things. Let the purpose He has planned teach you and condition you for what is next. Enough is never Enough. We are always growing and learning to make us better people and witnesses of God’s Goodness. Therefore, your Enough Point is to elevate you to greater.

Blessings my brothers and sisters in Christ.
