More Than Just A Gift

As a believer and a child of God, we reap the benefits of His unconditional love, unmerited favor, and unwavering faithfulness. When we trust Him, believe in Him and follow His lead, He will do the rest.

Psalms 23

God promises to guide us and when we follow His lead, we will have all we need throughout life’s journey.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

We were created to live abundant lives with peace and tranquility.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

When we are discouraged or off track, we can find our encouragement and reassurance in His word and in quite time with Him. Because He loves us and we are His children, He wants us to make the right choices and do the right thing at all times. The Holy Spirit will always encourage us to do so because we are a representation of Him and a testimony of His faithfulness.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

There are many dangers in the world around us but no need to fear anything. God, our shepherd, is always with us. We are assured of this.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Even when we are in the company of those who dislike us or who may have ill intentions, God’s favor enables us to persevere and succeed.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Although we have done nothing to deserve it, God’s grace and mercy are granted to us daily. After our earthly journey has ended, our souls will reside with our Lord for eternity.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
