Silence Suicide

Too often, I receive a call to pray for someone who is contemplating suicide. These requests touch my heart in a place deeper than any other’s venture to go. Instantly my thoughts remind me, this person is a threat to the enemy because he is desperately trying to encourage him/her to end the life God has intended to use for great things. Why else would this be the tactic he chose to use on this person? Let’s dive into this.

John 10:10 tells us the plan of the enemy is to steal, kill and destroy. The spirits of darkness are on assignment to do exactly that. They come into your life to steal your peace, your joy, your health, and all else including your success. They do all they can to destroy your purpose by killing your dreams and ultimately killing you if you let them.

Sometimes their plan begins as early as childhood. This is because commonly a child is not spiritually, mentally, or physically strong enough or mature enough to understand what they are experiencing in order to win the fight. They plant seeds to break the child’s spirit, to destroy the self-esteem, and to instill fear in the child.

This bullying epidemic is one of their tactics. When you stop to think about it, you will realize it’s because the enemy is out to steal, kill and destroy both the bully and bully’s victim. He has tapped into an insecurity within the bully that was planted by someone or some circumstance in order to make them behave with such hostility, anger, and hate, totally manipulating that person thus stealing all the promises on their life. In turn the bully is breaking their victim’s spirit, sometimes resulting in suicide. Two souls, two lives robbed of God’s promises and purposes by one plan.

If and when the enemy does not succeed in his plan during childhood, he will continue into adulthood. He is not one to give up and just let you live your purpose. A person may experience all types of heartache, hardships, setbacks and losses all in an effort to break you and keep you from succeeding in the purpose God intended. The sure way to shut the enemy down is to know the reason they are so determine to conquer you and use it to conquer them. You ARE A POWERFUL CHILD OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD with a purpose that can change the world around you. You are a threat to the plans of the spirits of darkness. Stand boldly and proclaim that. Stand firmly and know that. Stand strong and tell the suicidal voices to get somewhere sit down and be quiet. Every day, wake up speaking, knowing and believing that you are much more powerful than anything that attempts to come against you and you have the authority to shut the enemy down. Command your day by commanding the enemy to get behind you in the Name of Jesus. When you bring Jesus into the equation, all must obey. You have the authority to Silence Suicide and take back your life to win and live in your purpose.
